Reasons to choose therapy at withHeltti:

Expertise

  • You can trust our expertise. We have selected therapists with high-level backgrounds and suitability. Most of our short-term therapists are psychologists, and in addition to them, you can find psychotherapists, those studying to become psychotherapists, healthcare professionals with Valvira professional titles, as well as social psychologists. Moreover, many have additional training.
  • We support our therapists with high-quality, regular supervision and various continuing education opportunities. All of our short-term therapists have also completed training in high-quality short-term therapeutic approaches.

Impact and effectiveness

  • Changes in numbers. In 2023, we were able to provide therapy to 2,190 clients. Nearly all of them reported improved work ability, with an average satisfaction rating of 4.2 on a scale of 1 to 5.
  • Short therapy is more effective than commonly believed. In short-term therapy, not all issues are attempted to be resolved at once, but rather the focus is on 1-2 narrowly defined problems. A change in one area of life and the experience of how life or work challenges can be faced often leads to a positive chain reaction. Positive change begets more positive change.

Responsibility

  • Long-term psychotherapy is not the best solution for everything. We recognize that different situations require therapies of varying lengths, and we do not recommend longer therapies than necessary. This allows for quicker access to therapy as a client and helps prevent problems from persisting, making their treatment easier and faster. If you are unsure about the right treatment approach, book an initial appointment with us for short-term therapy, where the therapist will assess the appropriate course of action. In 2023, our short-term therapies lasted an average of 6.8 sessions.
  • Social responsibility is important to us. To support the mental well-being of Finns, we allocate our resources to producing mental health content free of charge. With this initiative, we aim to enable equal access to reliable mental health information provided by professionals. By choosing us as your therapy provider, you also support this effort.
