Who I am

I am a psychologist, sex counselor, and trainee sex therapist. I offer individual and couples therapy for adults and young people.

I specialize in themes related to sexuality, gender identity, relationships, and attachment. I also work extensively with work-related issues such as occupational well-being, stress, burnout, recovery challenges, and workplace dynamics. In addition, I have broad experience working with concerns related to mood, coping, self-esteem, body image, self-criticism, perfectionism, shame, and chronic pain. In my work, I am particularly interested in how past experiences and relationships shape our current thoughts, emotions, and behavior.

You are welcome to attend sex therapy alone or together with your partner(s). Sessions may focus on topics such as romantic and other close relationships, intimacy, communication, sexual well-being, self-esteem, body image, desire, pleasure, and sexual identity. We also explore your relationship with your own sexuality and sense of self. The aim is to increase understanding and to find ways to strengthen well-being and pleasure.

The goal of couples work is to deepen mutual understanding, improve communication, and strengthen connection. We explore ways to navigate conflicts, increase intimacy, trust, and pleasure, and better understand the underlying dynamics of the relationship.

More about my approach

Clients often describe my presence as warm and calming. It is important to me to create a safe and open space where even difficult topics can be discussed. When appropriate, there is also room for humor and a relaxed atmosphere. You are welcome to come as you are—without having all the answers. Together, we can explore what kind of change you are hoping for and where to begin.
All topics are welcome, and I always approach your concerns with sensitivity. I take an active role in the process to ensure that our sessions are as beneficial as possible. When needed, I will gently challenge you and offer my own reflections and perspectives.

In my work, I do not focus on quick fixes. Instead, we aim to develop a deeper understanding of your thoughts, experiences, and emotions. From this foundation, more authentic and sustainable change can emerge.

In our sessions, we can explore your life history or focus on the present moment and practical ways to support your well-being. I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs. You are welcome to attend a single session or engage in a longer therapeutic process.

Education and key professional experience

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and am a licensed occupational health psychologist. I am also a trained sex counselor and currently studying to become a certified sex therapist (expected completion 10/2026).

My professional experience comes from a variety of clinical and educational settings. In specialized healthcare, I have worked with long-term illnesses, chronic pain, and neuropsychological challenges, which has strengthened my ability to support overall well-being and navigate complex life situations. As a school psychologist in secondary education, I have supported young people with issues related to mood, coping, relationships, and questions about life direction.

I have worked with clients across a wide age range—from adolescents to working-age adults and older adults—which has given me a broad understanding of different life stages and their specific psychological challenges.
