About me
Hello, my name is Linda. I hold a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology and I am a psychotherapy trainee specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In my work, I primarily use CBT, schema therapy, attachment theory, developmental psychology and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with an integrative and psychodynamic perspective. I strive to create a calm, empathetic and respectful therapeutic space, and my goal is to support you in achieving meaningful and lasting change.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, grief, panic attacks, phobias, obsessive thoughts or behaviors, relationship and attachment difficulties, destructive relationships, experiences of violence, and existential questions related to life and acceptance.
My therapeutic approach focuses on understanding underlying causes in order to promote long-term improvement and to tailor therapy for your individual needs.
I have over 20 years of experience in various forms of therapeutic conversations, hold additional training in CBT and supervision, including a CPC-CBT diploma and have studied Development Studies at the University of Agder in Norway. I am currently in my third year of training to become a licensed CBT psychotherapist at Åbo Akademi University.
